Break the Speaking Barrier with the Story Method

I am a certified teacher. For over 10 years I have been helping adults get comfortable communicating in English using my Story Method.

The goal of the sessions is to help you improve your English communication skills starting at the level you are currently at.

Maybe you have studied English but haven't had much experience speaking and would like to get over a fear of speaking. Or maybe you already feel comfortable having conversations in English but would like to get better at describing situations and experiences or develop your ability to express thoughts and ideas.

Either way, you can benefit from these Private Sessions. Attention will be given to the areas you need to improve to communicate more freely in English.

The sessions are friendly and relaxed, yet very productive. They include conversation, coached & independent reading, and, of course, I will help you with meaning as well as pronunciation and prosody.

The material we use is a novel/book of your choice or other sources for language input. The material you/we chose to work with could also be non-fiction. The material provides language input and serves as a starter for discussions and conversations about both language and content. Depending on your level and ambition, we may get through the whole book, or we may just get to finish one, or a few, chapters. It doesn't matter. The important thing is that your spoken English improves.
