I'm a native English speaker with more than 12 years experience teaching English internationally, including in New York City. I specialize in preparing students for advanced exams: FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS, and TOEFL. I go beyond basic preparation, and offer my students a comprehensive program that includes film, literature, and writing workshops. I get my students to start thinking in English through engaging them in high-level thinking about complex issues and ideas- in a natural and fun way, of course!
My qualifications include:
- Masters of Education; I understand the theory of learning and know how to teach to different learning modalities.
- Two years as a High School US History teacher in New York City; I love working with teenagers, and have extensive experience preparing them for advanced exams.
- 8 years experience teaching in Europe and New York.
