I am a bilingual English / Spanish speaker, born and raised in Spain, but lived and studied in the U.K. for many years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (English and German) and also a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business. Currently I am immersed in my PhD studies at the UPV while working as an Associated English Teacher there. Additionally, I am a qualified teacher appointed by the Teaching Agency for England.

At the present moment, I can say I am a highly experienced and motivated English teacher with a broad education that showcases my dedication to language learning and teaching. I can say I have perfect English and professional German and French. Among others I have the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (C.P.E. – C2) and the Certificate of Teaching Knowledge Test (T.K.T.) by the University of Cambridge and the Zertifikat Deutsch from Goethe Institut. Furthermore, I have studied and lived in Birmingham, England, for many years, besides many other long stays all around England and Germany.

It is a fact that I love languages and believe that learning languages is essential in today’s multicultural society. This is why I am eager to continue my education by researching in the field of Modern Languages through my PhD studies at the same time as I foster my teaching career at the university. As personal strengths, I can offer students my conviction, commitment, determination, enthusiasm, understanding, caring, companionship, and needless to say, my passion for languages and teaching. What is more, I have very good management, coordination and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and listening skills when liaising with students' issues.

It is my goal to combine my range of knowledge and expertise with my ability and skills to be a committed teacher with a strong desire to motivate and inspire students from various cultures, backgrounds and language levels. I am certain I can make a positive contribution to you.
