Isidro Maldonado

I am a recent MBA graduate from EADA Business School in Barcelona. I am originally from Mexico City with extensive experience in the international retail business industry, both as an entrepreneur and as a business developer for Start-up's.
Nowadays, the world is changing into a very competitive place for professionals. A lot of transnational companies are investing and creating places to work but if you want to have an opportunity with these companies you have to earn it and there´s where we can realize that the competitive situation is tough and it´s happening worldwide.
In Mexico, only the 3% of the population have the opportunity to study abroad. Through my hard work and perseverance, I was one of that 3%. The experience of doing an International MBA has greatly encouraged me to give my best during the program and also in my professional career, where the multicultural environment is rich and competitive.
I learned new topics polishing my skills and abilities whilst complementing my prior expertise working with other cultures, gaining a competitive advantage to adapt to any kind of organization, situation, job or environment.
I believe that the multicultural experience gained in Barcelona has helped me accomplish a number of professional objectives, as it encouraged me to specialize in other areas where I could develop my managerial skills and also apply my experience in different industries and markets in other counties.
The experience of working in foreign countries has taught me how other cultures develop their own markets, economy, business, negotiation and relations. I posses a better understanding and appreciation of the benefits of diversity in a workforce and I am eager to put this knowledge to use in leading an international team. I would like to further develop my managerial skills and apply them for the benefit of the organization I represent.
At this point of my life I have achieved personal and professional objectives, motivating myself to accomplish whatever task and duty I am responsible for. Now I am ready to start again and work, I am committed to giving my best and if I am in charge of a department I will motivate and work together with my team because I think that is the only way to develop talented professionals to make outstanding changes for their selves, communities, firms and countries.
