Native teacher with 20 years experience. I'm from NJ, USA. We moved to spain when I was a teenager. Been lucky to have one foot on each culture. Spain is a vibrant country I love everything about it. I started working as a teacher with my sister when I was 18. She's 5 years older than me, an amazing Maths professor and my example in life even tho' numbers are not for me :)
In my 20s I started working in a local private school and had the opportunity to build up a strong team of language teachers and then obtain official English certification for the company via Pearson for which I ended up working as a teacher and examiner for almost 10 years. Then I moved to customer service, front desk and stewarding in some of the top hotels in the city. Worked as a freelance for a while, which is how I got into becoming a proofreader for thesis and documents, translator and live interpreter. I even had the honor of serving in asylum petition cases in cooperation with national police and refugee charities.
To sum up: Lived here long enough to consider myself a bit local too. Wide experience in a range of fields all involving language and customer service, all ages and levels. Translator and proofreader for companies and PhD students. Hope we can make it work. My classes are fun and 100% adapted to your needs. Don't hesitate to contact me for a free trial, if you decide to continue then It'll count as a first class and will be paid.
