Maths & Physics Teacher - A-Level

Think Ahead Education is a group in the international education sector with three education branches: Virtus, the Sixth Form College of Madrid; the most personalized British school in the Spanish market; Think Ahead Academy, a top academic support center in Madrid; and IB Wave, our online tutoring platform that connects IB students with the best tutors.

What would you do?

The maths/physics teacher position at Virtus implies 13.5 hours weekly for the next academic year. Additionally, we can offer 8 hours per week at the academy during afternoons.

What do we need?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physics or Maths. Most importantly, the candidate must be able to teach Physics or math at least at IGCSE (16-year-olds) level.
1 year + of teaching experience (and PGCE is highly valued)
Native or excellent English speaking and writing.
Excellent creative, communication, and presentation skills.
Engaging personality and teaching style.

What do we offer?

Salary: The maths/physics teacher position at Virtus implies 13.5 hours weekly for the next academic year. The total income is 2.131 € monthly gross/salary.

Additionally, we can offer 8 hours per week at the academy during afternoons. These hours are forecasted and based on past years. Depending on the number of students the fee varies from 22,5 euros/hour to 55 euros/hour.

Schedule:

Virtus, the Sixth Form College of Madrid: Mornings from 9 am to 2 pm except one afternoon per week until 5 pm.
Think Ahead Academy: Afternoons from 5:15 pm to 9:15 pm.

Location: Alcobendas.
