Listening, speaking, and practicing Spanish around certain specific situations is the key to learning. Grammar is important in my lessons, and the target is managing to get on well in real conversations.
I also prepare small group lessons (2-4 students) which may be funnier and help to learn a lot from your classmates.

It's also important to know the costumes of the country you are going to deal with. I have accounting knowledge so it may help you in case it's your speciality.
