Hola, soy Sacha!
Me dará mucha ilusión enseñarte!
Hey, I'm Sacha! I have a few years of experience teaching English to non-native speakers, starting in undergrad at my university in Colorado, where I did my BA. I speak a few languages, namely English (native), Portuguese (C2), French (C1), Spanish (C1), Catalan (C1), and Russian (B1). I finished my BA in Russian Studies and Political Science at the University of Colorado, and I did an MA course in political science at the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon, the same city where I studied Portuguese at the Faculdade de Letras of the University of Lisbon, finishing at the C2 level. In my day to day life, I speak mostly Portuguese, with English, Spanish, and Catalan depending on the context.
My teaching method relies on real-world materials, the kind of things you'll be using in the language day to day, such as: videos, conversation, improvement in pronunciation, and much more! You can count on the lessons being much more interesting than picking through a grammar book that may have very little to do with how you actually think! Instead, I focus on authentic methods of communication. It'll be a pleasure teaching you!
