Stephanie Van Niekerk

Hello everyone!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Stephanie. I am a CELTA qualified teacher who holds a bachelor in English Language and Communication from the University of Amsterdam.

As I believe that learning a language should be a fun and inspiring experience, I started The Art of Language, a language school where students improve their English/Spanish while studying and enjoying art: music, photography, films, theatre, design, street art, etc.

For The Art of Language, I developed various Art of Language lessons, which might also be interesting for individual students who are looking for private language classes and like the idea of learning a language through art.

We will talk about films, analyse song lyrics, listen to Ted Talks, discuss documentaries, write about photographs and play theatre games, while I help you to improve your English language skills (pronunciation, presentation and use of vocabulary, collocations and grammar).

In case you need to prepare for a certain language exam (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, D.E.L.E.), we can adapt the lessons in such a way that they will suit your personal needs.
