Friendly, enthusiastic, NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHER!

br/>I am a 22 year old English teacher from Liverpool in the United Kingdom, with a first class Masters degree in German and Spanish from the University of Manchester, including advanced training in translation and interpreting for international organisations (European Union, United Nations, UNESCO, IMF.)


I have spent multiple residences abroad in both Germany and Spain, studying at the University of Heidelberg for 6 months and undergoing several translation internships and work experience placements in Barcelona and Bilbao.

I am an academia enthusiast (as nerdy as that may sound..!) and I am passionate about putting into practice my own experience learning two languages and using the methods I found most effective for my own language learning, to aid students wishing to improve their proficiency and pass those all important exams. I have 2 years experience of language mentoring both in Germany, Spain and the UK where I have tutored students of all levels, focusing on all aspects of language learning; listening, reading comprehension, grammar and speaking.
I tailor to the specific needs of the student and I am good at quickly identifying the grammatical areas which I believe the student needs to focus on and practice. By doing this, I ensure that there is progression from one tutoring session to the next.


I am friendly, chatty and extremely approachable. I like to build a good rapport with my students, make them feel as comfortable as possible and never stop encouraging them to develop their language skills.

I am currently working as an English teacher in What's Up! Living English in Bilbao but am also looking to give private classes, whether it be conversation based, grammar or writing to those looking to improve their English!
