Álvaro is a great teacher, but above all, he is a good person. I have been doing classes with Álvaro for a year and, more or less, we do a class everyday from Monday to Friday. Álvaro is very friendly, he has a lot of patience and, the most important thing for me, is he is flexible. I have really improved my Spanish and especially my conversation skills. It was the most important thing for me that I wanted to improve and Álvaro has been flexible to allow that to happen. At the moment, I have a lot of confidence to speak Spanish and now, with Álvaro's classes, I am going to take the DELE exam in February to demonstrate my level and obtain a Spanish certification. Thank you very much Álvaro! // Álvaro es un profesor genial, pero sobre todo es una buena persona. He estado haciendo clases con Álvaro por un año y, más o menos, hacemos una clase cada día de lunes a viernes. As a business owner with a family, Álvaro can work very well with my busy schedule and be flexible. Lessons are focussed exactly where my gaps are, and we balance the classes well between conversational Spanish, grammar exercises and creative variations to keep it fresh. Álvaro is attentive, knowledgeable and has seemingly monk-like patience. I see the value in one on one sessions with Álvaro and highly recommend him.

Aprender un nuevo idioma no suele ser algo fácil, y menos para personas mayores como yo. Gracias a Alvaro y a su métdo de enseñanza, logré perder el miedo al español. Álvaro has been a huge help in the past year in improving my written and spoken Spanish and I would highly recommend him as a Spanish teacher. His classes are always interesting and have plenty of variety. Based around conversation, we've also covered lots of grammar, aural exercises and he structures optional homework around the areas I need to improve on most. Apart from anything else, Álvaro is a lovely guy and very interesting to chat to!
Álvaro me ha ayudado mucho en el último año para mejorar mi español escrito y hablado. Lo recomendaría sin duda a alguien que busque un profe de español. Nuestras clases son siempre interesantes y tienen mucha variedad. Basado en la conversación, además hemos estudiado la gramática, ejercicios auditivos y estructura los deberes opcionales en los temas en que necesito mejorar. ¡Además, Álvaro es un tipo muy amable y muy interesante para charlar!

Alavaro es un profesor fenomenalmente observador y paticente. Me preparó a aprobar mi examen DELE de inglés C1 en solo un mes. Además de estar siempre disponible para responder preguntas, me ayudó a preparar preguntas, escuchó audios míos y luego me proveío datos sobre ellos y calificó mis escrituras no solo con lo que era incorrecto, sino también con las razones por las cuales lo que había escrito era incorrecto. Sobre todo él es un profesor es muy amable y hace un ambiente de aprendizaje muy relajante para practicar hablar español. ¡Lo recomiendo mucho!

Álvaro was my teacher of the B2-C1 Spanish course. Although it is not that long, it was very benificial.
Álvaro is very professional and experienced in teaching, and he is a detail oriented teacher.
The course was very organized, and everything was well explained.
He will arrange homework and exercises based on my grammar weakness. And in the class of next time, he will clarify your doubts patiently.
So if you want to learn spanish as well, Álvaro is well recommended.

As an adult student, Alvaro has made lessons fun and does a great transition to from doing the lesson in English/Spanish to Spanish that allows for a good experience while maximizing learning.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first lesson with Alvaro. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the lesson and I found myself trying to speak more in Spanish than ever before. That is fantastic as I'm so hesitant with my limited knowledge. He gently guided me through my mistakes and I feel that I learned more in that 1 hour than I have in months and months of trying to learn. I'm looking forward to continuing with Alvaro.
