Andy did a really excellent job of helping both my kids. He tutored my son at GCSE physics and has spent almost a year helping my 14 year old daughter improve her maths. Both tell me that they feel much more confident and able in these subjects. And from what I have seen and heard of the classes I have been very impressed with Andy's kindness with the kids as well his clarity and knowledge in explaining things. I absolutely recommend him as a tutor.

Andy supported two of my teenage children through their GCSE Physics courses. Both had very successful outcomes that would not have happened without his thoughtful and effective support. It was clear Andy was always able to get to the heart of why one of my children was struggling on a particular topic or question and find a way to help them come to a solution by themselves. As a fellow teacher I know this is the hallmark of great pedagogy and, subsequently, I do not hesitate to recommend him.

For years, my daughters have struggled with science and math. Andy has been a godsend! He is able to explain these subjects in a way they understand and his lively, cheerful personality make the classes go by quickly. Their marks have improved tremendously and they are getting positive feedback from their teachers. A side bonus is their level of self-confidence has also gone up-- "we can do it!"
