Beatriz Martín Pérez

I have worked in London, as a Spanish Teacher at UIC College for the last two years. I am a qualified teacher in Spain and I hold Qualified Teacher Status, QTS.

I believe in communicative approach in order to help students to use the language since the first lesson in an enjoyable environment, through engaging tasks which enhance the students’ learning experience and increasing their motivation.

I always bring to every class my open mind, creative and passionate spirit which enables me to create a pleasant and friendly atmosphere at my lessons.

My experience teaching at the college through all different levels and learning styles as well as One to One students, has provided me with the ability to adapt my lessons, the classroom manner and to design well-prepared materials tailored to student's needs and interests. I have got excellent feedback from my students and school.

My one-year Teacher Training Certificate, CAP (Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude) and CLTA (Certificate in Spanish Language for Adults) have provided me with the skills to create stimulating activities to present new language points, design clear lessons in order to help students understand the language, lose the fear of speaking and get their improvements.

I am a confident, empathetic and positive person with a keen personal interest in helping students achieve their language goals.
