Mireya is fantastic as a performer but just as good at teaching. For some, teaching is something 'on the side'. For Mireya, teaching others the joy of making music is an extra dimension of being a musician. I've had cello lessons for about a year and a halve from Mireya. Mireya's cellolessons were very enjoyable. She paid attention to technique and tone production as well as to the joy of playing. With the former you learned how to play the cello, with the latter you dared to play and dared to make mistakes, because only by doing you get further. The lessons were always cheerful, which made it not feel like school. It was fun, in playing and in learning. I learned a lot from her!
