A child’s potential is unlimited, and any person, with the right conditions can develop musical talent in the same way that they learn to speak their mother tongue. Suzuki's goal was not to create professional musicians, but highly capable, sensitive and good-natured people; happy people.
Suzuki firmly believed in the great potential of music to enrich the lives of children. Through music children develop their sensitivity, the ability to listen, perseverance, effort, concentration, memory and flexibility to adapt to each other.
"A person with a noble and pure heart will find happiness."
Shinichi Suzuki
Montserrat Colomé, has trained as a Suzuki teacher at the British Suzuki Institute in London. She is a member of the Association of the Suzuki Method of Catalonia and the Spanish Federation of the Suzuki Method. She has more than 15 years of experience teaching children and adults.
Like Suzuki, I firmly believe that the hope for our world resides in each child and the education we offer them. The Suzuki method allows me to accompany the learning process of each child and adult from a global perspective, integrative and respectful. It is from here that I like to nourish the love for music and the instrument. Planting the seed and experiencing magic.
