La imagen que damos de nosotros mismos en el escenario es realmente importante, y por desgracia, es algo que no solemos tener muy en cuenta. Desde la ropa que usamos, nuestra postura, nuestros gestos, todo envía un mensaje a nuestra audiencia.
A muchos nos aconsejan estudiar siempre delante de un espejo o grabarnos mientras tocamos en clase, pero seamos realistas, en esos momentos no realizamos tantos movimientos como cuando damos un concierto (saludar, agradecer los aplausos, cambiar de baquetas… todas esas cosas también tenemos que trabajarlas).
Además, puede que no nos demos cuenta, pero es muy probable que tengamos vicios o manías que hacemos a menudo, como rascarte la nariz antes de tocar, toser… etc.

Have you ever thought about how you look from the audience place while you are performing a concert or audition?
The image we present of ourselves on stage is really important, and unfortunately, it's something we don't often take into account. From the clothes we wear, our posture, our gestures, everything sends a message to our audience.
Many of us are advised to always study in front of a mirror or record ourselves while practicing, but let's face it, in those moments we don't make as many movements as when we are in a concert ( greeting, thanking the applause, changing mallets... all those things we also have to work on).
In addition, we may not realize it, but it is very likely that we have vices or habits that we often do, like scratching our nose before playing, coughing... etc.
