I have over 12 years of teaching English experience both in the United Kingdom and in Spain (10 years).

I have taught English as a second or foreign language in schools, in academies, online and Universities. I currently work at Hull University (The UK) teaching EFL and EAP courses whilst working on my PhD in Second Language Acquisition. I hold a Bachelor's degree in TESOL with Modern Languages as well as a first class Master's degree in TESOL and Linguistics. I have been delivering classes online for a couple of years and hold a certificate in Cambridge online Teaching.

I have worked closely with the Cambridge examinations throughout my 12 years having taught the young learner exams (Movers, Starters and Flyers) and prepared teenage students and adults for: PET, FCE, CAE and CPE. Additionally, I have experience with exam creation having been appointed as the creator of the in-house assessment listening paper at Cambridge Education Group). My preferred methodology for teaching would certainly be a communicative approach, however I am certainly not afraid of adapting my style and approach to teaching in order to attain the best from my students.
