British English Teacher who trained in linguistics and the University of Oxford

An experienced teacher who holds a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Secondary English, a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford and a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Level 5 qualification. Ten years of teaching both in the UK and in Europe has resulted in a professional who can tailor teaching for different age groups and learning needs. I have taught children as young as six, teenagers and adults. Currently, I teach English at the British Council, Madrid.

Personally, I like to make my students feel at ease, so that they enjoy the learning process. During lessons, I try to be kind, patient and encouraging. It is always my aim to present information as clearly as possible, so that my students make quick progress.

My main method of delivery is online. However, I am willing to offer face to face lessons to students who are based near the barrio of Iglesia, Madrid.

I aim for my lessons to be of the highest quality and update adult students or parents (of younger students) by issuing a student report both at the end of the autumn and summer terms. The report covers all four of the language learning skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as the student's general progress in English proficiency.

Lessons are priced at 45 euros for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Finally, I have undergone child protection police checks both in the UK and Spain and have the corresponding certificates, as proof.
