Hello, I am Jieyin! I am a CELTA-certified (Cambridge University, Level 5, English teaching certificate) English teacher. I am passionate about studying and teaching languages and would love to give interactive and effective English lessons with a student-centred approach.

CELTA Certificate (Level 5, English teaching certificate) training at International House London and Cambridge University
Two years of graduate school work in University of Connecticut, US about dyslexia.
Master of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience about second language learning and development in NYU-ECNU Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology

* ABOUT MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have almost 4 years of teaching experience on private tutoring, 1-to-1 online teaching, and classroom setting teaching.
I am experienced in teaching business English, general English, and travelling and cultural differences.
For exams, I also help students with IELTS exams and Cambridge exams.
For business English, I help students with interviews, business conversations and formal business English.
I am also a bilingual English teacher in Spain, teaching students from 5 to 18 years old (primary school, high school and university preparation).

I have been using English as my primary work language since 2015. I am C2 native-like in English, and I am an early bilingual (English and Chinese Mandarin from 6 years old). I had IELTS taking experiences.
Besides English, I am native in Cantonese and Mandarin, fluent at N2 level in Japanese, A2-B1 in Spanish and basic communication with Chinese sign language.
I have travelled, worked, and lived in the USA, Central America, South America, and Europe in the past six years.

In my free time, I like travelling, running, reading, and making cocktails! I also like to study wines, playing sudoku and exploring the nature!
