Certified English Teacher | Exam Preparation (CAE, DELF) & Conversational Fluency

Hello! My name is Cecilia, and I’m a qualified language teacher with a B.A. in Translation and Interpreting (English, French, Italian) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

I have several years of experience teaching English and French to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced learners, and I currently prepare students for official exams such as the Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE).

My passion for languages goes beyond the classroom—I love exploring how cultures and communication connect people. This curiosity drives me to create engaging, dynamic lessons that adapt to your needs, whether you want to improve conversational fluency, prepare for exams, or strengthen grammar and vocabulary.

I have been working as an English and French teacher since 2021, with experience ranging from private tutoring to structured courses in language academies. Currently, I teach at Punt de Partida – Language Consultants (Barcelona), where I design and deliver English courses from A1 to C1 levels, including Cambridge exam preparation (CAE – C1 Advanced). I also teach French (A1–C1), helping students develop both fluency and accuracy in all four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Alongside teaching, I also work as an Academic Coordinator, which allows me to manage timetables, create new groups, design materials, and support students with personalized learning strategies. This role has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles, ensuring that each student progresses at their own pace.

My teaching methodology is communicative and student-centered:

· I focus on practical communication skills, encouraging students to speak from the first lesson.

· I integrate authentic materials (articles, podcasts, videos) to bring language to life.

· I use exam strategies and tailored practice for students preparing for official certifications.

· I emphasize continuous feedback and motivation, helping students feel confident and supported throughout their learning journey.
