I am an English teacher from London with over 7 years of experience teaching English, both in London and in Spain.

I love meeting new people and teaching them English because I feel there is nothing more gratifying than giving others a valuable skill in life and a way of understanding different cultures.

I enjoy what I do, and this is reflected in the way I am with my students: friendly, positive, and patient. I want to use my skills to enrich other lives; Whether it is opening doors for new job prospects or simply helping them achieve a personal goal.

Qualifications & Experience:

I am a fully qualified ESOL teacher with an Advanced Business TEFL Certificate, and CELTA Certificate.

My first experience teaching started in 2012 when I moved to Madrid and trained as a teacher with Vaughan Systems, an English language academy. I taught professionals in large and small groups at international companies throughout Madrid. I then went on to Barcelona where I worked with young learners teaching drama and English. I moved back to London in 2013 to carry on my training at International House and I currently work as a private English tutor.

I teach 1-2-1 classes and to groups that want to learn either general or business English. I also help students studying to pass: KET, PET, FCE, CAE, and achieve a 6+ band IELTS. I have also trained students to pass British citizenship tests such as IELTS Life Skills and Trinity B1.


Teaching the Approach:

The lessons I provide are online using Skype with other students around the world. I follow a communicative method that makes learning easier and fun. Each lesson will practice 2-3 areas of the English language like grammar, speaking, listening, pronunciation and some writing assignments. Students progress and learn English through conversations and discussions with others in the group on topics of trends and news articles. Students are able to practice their language skills, ask questions and receive the support they need.

I am currently organising group classes for B1 students (intermediate level).
