English, Mathematics and IBDP Teacher (Native english speaker with B1 Level Spanish)

My classes are interactive, structured, and completely tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I begin by assessing the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement, as well as their goals, whether it’s improving grades, gaining confidence, or preparing for exams. From there, I design lessons that balance concept explanation, guided practice, and applied exercises, ensuring students not only understand the material but also know how to use it effectively.

For English, lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, with exercises that make learning practical and enjoyable. I also focus on improving fluency, comprehension, and confidence in speaking and writing, using real-life examples and conversational practice to make the lessons engaging.

For Maths, I emphasize conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, breaking down complex topics step by step and reinforcing knowledge through exercises and real-world examples. I encourage students to ask questions, explore multiple approaches, and develop logical thinking that they can apply independently.

I also have experience teaching IBDP subjects, helping students navigate the curriculum, internal assessments, and exam preparation. I provide guidance on study techniques, time management, and structuring answers to meet assessment criteria, while fostering critical thinking, analysis, and independent learning.
