Intermediate - Advanced English Conversation Classes

Hello! My name is Natalie and I have been working as an English conversation teacher for 3 1/2 years. I graduated from University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, and I also hold a certified TEFL certificate. My typical outline for conversation classes are as follows:
1. Introducing key/new vocabulary
2. Finding articles to read together related to the topic (accent correction)
3. Watching a short related video (listening skills/vocabulary building)
5.Discuss afterwards different thoughts and opinions (Cultural knowledge/asking answering/questions/grammar)

Some topics that I already have plans for include things such as: Taboo's, Relationships, Art/Culture/Music, Business, Communication, Health, Philosophy, Travel, Technology, and "Weird/Random".

I am always open to creating a lesson around a topic or event that the student specifically asks for as well as having a more "loose" conversation class. For example, I enjoy having clients take different personality quizzes and reflecting on whether or not they agree, reading things about astrology or discussing current movies/music/political events.
