Native ESL/EFL English Tutor - Online Classes

Hi! I'm James. I am a qualified TEFL tutor with many interests including environmentalism, music, guitar, cooking, and learning languages (I'm learning Spanish).

I studied Environmental Conservation at university and I do lots of volunteering work in my free time. I began learning Spanish at school, and continued it before moving to Spain in 2017 and working at a busy backpackers' hostel in Seville. I'm now living in Barcelona where I enjoy tutoring ESL learners online while having the opportunity to perfect my Spanish.

I'm a native English speaker and I grew up in the UK. Before moving to Barcelona, I lived in Manchester (in the Northwest of England).

I would say that music is my main hobby. I learnt on classical guitar and later branched out to electric, acoustic and bass. I have ABRSM Grade 8 and I spend a lot of time learning music production skills to record my own music. I'd love to learn drums one day, too, but at the moment I haven't had time to practise.

My lessons are fun and I really like to get to know my students, to make sure I can tailor the learning to their specific goals and needs. I'm always happy to answer any questions, so please don't hesitate to drop me a message!
