Do you or your child want to get better at English, but find traditional English classes boring?
Good. Me too. That’s why I teach Creative Writing in English.
And when students are busy inventing characters, crafting stories, building jokes, or arguing with imaginary pigeons, something magical happens:
They stop studying English and start using it.
What We Actually Do in Class
Write stories, dialogues, letters, or absolute nonsense, as long as it’s alive.
Create characters with ridiculous flaws and heroic potential.
Build conflict, humour, emotion. In English.
Learn grammar not from worksheets, but from necessity.
Who This Works For
✅ Kids who find textbooks boring but have wild imaginations.
✅ Teens who are tired of filling in the gaps but will passionately write revenge monologues.
✅ Adults who want to express themselves in English through storytelling and joke crafting.
You don’t need to be good at writing. You just need ideas. Even silly ones. Especially silly ones.
What You’ll Gain
Fluency through storytelling
Vocabulary through emotion
Grammar through usage
Confidence through having something to say
About the Teacher
I’m Yulia Peelovesky, a published novelist, stand-up comedian, and Trinity-certified English teacher.
Born in Ukraine, British by passport and personality, currently located in Barcelona.
One more important thing.
I do have an accent.
Not BBC English. More like "I lived in four countries and refuse to apologise”.
But I promise: it won’t stop you from learning. If anything, it will give you permission to speak freely… without waiting until your accent is perfect. Because stories don’t wait.
If you’d like to learn English by creating worlds instead of filling worksheets, send me a message.
Let’s write in English and let English follow.
