Jorge Correia Orfão has a BA in Modern Languages and Literature (English and Spanish Studies) from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). During his year abroad at the School of Languages, Linguistics, and Culture of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Manchester, he pursued studies in Modern English and Language as well as Issues in Child Language Acquisition. At the University of Coimbra, Jorge wrote his MA dissertation in Feminist Studies (Anglo-American Literature) entitled Masculinidades no Feminino: o caso transgénero de Tipton/Moody(2012). Since 2009, he has taught English Language, Literature, and Culture to Young and Adult Learners in different private/public educational institutions in Chile, Spain, China, and Portugal. His professional development is characterized by his participation and completion of several training courses in Theories of Second Language Acquisition, Second Language Reading, Writing and Grammar, Foundational Principles of Language Acquisition, and Foundational and Advanced Training for Teaching English Online.
