I'm a qualified and experienced English teacher from the UK. I've been teaching in Seville, Spain for the last year. My first position was teaching kids and adults in a local academy and I have since gained experienced with in-company business English classes and online conversation classes, which I have been taking regularly since March. I think the best way to learn English is by speaking English and, so, most of my classes focus on developing students' ability to use the language they are learning. Through conversation I help them develop vocabulary on specific topics and help them understand the correct grammar to communicate effectively. While doing so, I correct their pronunciation and identify specific needs of individual learners with which I can build development plans and lessons for future classes.
I have a bachelor's degree in Music and, before teaching English, I taught guitar lessons, gave lectures on music and ran community projects consisting of songwriting, music and performance lessons.
I was also a manager in the office of a large utilities company, where I worked for four years and was responsible for coaching and developing the skills of my staff.
