Experienced tutor with QTS teaching Maths to GCSE. I have spent the past 11 years teaching in a range of mainstream and special education schools in the UK and Spain, as well as 15 years private tutoring.

For me, Maths is not just a subject—it's a realm of endless possibilities and a language of its own! With an M-level maths teaching specialism, I have always loved delving deep into the intricate world of mathematics education. My passion for maths is contagious, and I firmly believe that no one is "bad" at it; they simply need the right guidance and enthusiasm to unlock their potential. My expertise enables me to break down complex concepts into bite-sized, understandable pieces, helping students conquer their mathematical fears and embrace the beauty of numbers. What I most love about teaching Maths is when I see a student suddenly having that "Eureka" moment, when they finally understand a concept they have been struggling with...Or better yet, that moment when they tell me, "I actually like Maths now!"

I bring a unique blend of creativity and motivation to my teaching, understanding the importance of making learning enjoyable and striving to create a positive and stimulating atmosphere that encourages students to explore, discover, and excel.

I use quizzes, games, videos, and whatever else it takes to help my students fall in love with Maths. I always work at a pace that suits them and personalise each lesson according to their interests and needs. My goal is to ignite a love for learning and nurture academic growth in a supportive environment that keeps students engaged. This way they are much more likely to retain their knowledge, as well as become a confident person who is unafraid to ask questions, learn from mistakes and be successful as a whole, not just academically!
