I believe that learning English should be enjoyable, practical and confidence-building. My aim is to create a friendly and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking English and are never afraid to make mistakes. I have over 25 years of experience teaching English and work with children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced level. I also specialise in preparation for Cambridge exams, Trinity and IELTS. How my classes work My lessons are live and online, with a strong focus on speaking and using English in real-life situations. I don't want students simply memorising grammar rules — I want them to actually use English and become confident communicating. Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 6 students, so everyone has plenty of opportunities to participate, speak and receive individual attention. During lessons we use a mixture of conversation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, games, quizzes and interactive activities. I adapt the lessons according to the students' age and level. More than just the live classes Students also receive access to my online learning platform, where they can continue practising outside class. There they can find: • Vocabulary and grammar practice • Listening and reading activities • Interactive games and quizzes • Speaking and writing practice • Revision activities • Extra materials related to what we are studying in class This means students can practise English throughout the week rather than only during their lesson.
