My name is Alexander Johnson, and I am an American with over 10 years of ESL teaching experience. Based in Spain, I’ve worked with the following groups and areas: business English, business executives; primary schools and children ages 7-12; secondary schools and teenagers 13-18; university students, writing and speaking; adults ranging from conversation to Cambridge preparation.
In the last years, I have gained a thorough knowledge of the 5 levels of Official Cambridge Exams, and have helped countless students pass the A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 exams that Cambridge offers. These exams can seem overwhelming at first glance, but my method is a narrow focus on the exam itself, all the while improving all the necessary skills that will accompany you in your professional, academic and social endeavors. Cambridge exams are a necessary step in opening doors in your future, but they also provide a solid base of skills that can easily be translated into the classroom, the workplace or your local pub.
Apart from English classes, I have years of experience helping with speeches, presentations, and translating copy, papers and most forms of informal and formal writing into English.
