I'm currently serving as an English assistant teacher in an English academy, which teaches young English learners between 5-12.

First I'll let them know Chinese is such a beautiful language, and isn't as difficulties as they thought. Then I'll divide the class to seperated sections, start from bopomofo, which is the basic of pronunciacion with many games and interactions, at the same time will bring in simple daily sentences. And bring in the idea of how Chinese characters are formed by assembling different parts together. Then move on to more advanced contexts to make simple sentences.
