I bring a learner-centred approach to English teaching through my academic and professional background in political science, policy and communications, and international education.

My background has consistently required the clear and effective use of English across academic and multicultural environments. I have previously worked with the British Council, the National Economic and Development Authority, and the European Union in the Philippines, experiences that shape a teaching approach emphasizing clarity, structure, and real-world application of English.

We will focus on professional writing and building proficiency on the discussion of global issues through practical content-based learning, e.g., the analysis of articles, policy texts, and opinion pieces. As a professional that has regularly worked with complex texts, translating them into accessible English, I aim to help learners communicate ideas effectively and improve their oral and written expression of contemporary social topics, for preparation in international environments.
