I am a driven, friendly and humorous teacher who focuses on relaxed and fun conversation training. I would like to teach any age.

I have been teaching English for 2 years full time, and I have had students from the age of 5 to 68 years old. I am very quick to adapt to the students level of confidence and knowledge, so I can quickly figure out the type of conversations, topics and exercises to do with the students. I have a lot of resources that I use to help guide students from the very basics and I use a lot of real life examples to help them understand the situations in which they would use the English expressions and words. I like to practice role playing with students so that they are confident when they visit a restaurant, an airport or if they have to ask questions in another country. Most of all I try to help them find their voice in English too, so that their personality does not change when they speak English but it stays the same as it is in their native language. I am very humorous and do not put a lot of pressure on students, instead I allow them to take their time to think about the exercise and the sentences and figure out where and how they would use it in a real world situation. I have lived, worked and studied in Oxford since the age of 8, so I am very familiar with the English language and I speak it with a fluent British accent. I have worked as a Social worker, administrator, receptionist and warehouse worker in England, so I can give students who would like to work abroad a lot of helpful information about the experience and the important social and communication aspects to focus on, especially in interviews or when making friends with British people.
