I am a qualified, native English teacher from Manchester

I hold a BSc Psychology with Linguistics degree from the University of York, a CELTA and I have completed the first module of my DELTA certification. I am C2 Native/Expert level in English and C2 Fluent in Arabic.

For the past three years since graduating, I have worked at universities in the UK, teaching English for Academic purposes on pre-university language programmes, in-sessional programmes and to foundation level students. I have taught general and business English to adults at Kaplan International and on the Activate programme at the University of Liverpool. I have written and adapted materials for each of these courses. I have also trained teachers and students on using technology in the classroom and managed a group of teachers in a coordination role during the summer pre-sessional programme.

I am very comfortable with online teaching, and I also enjoy face-to-face teaching. I have planned courses and syllabi, and written materials for these courses.
