My passion in teaching began in my early years in high school. It grew when I entered college and started to volunteer as an English tutor for organizations in Xavier University. I have learned to facilitate and develop strategies to help learning easier for the students. I have also been an active student leader where I was able to organize and manage workshops focusing on the field of Education, and English language and literature. Teaching and learning with others has been a fulfilling journey for me that is why I continued teaching ESL to students of various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Assessing and meeting their different levels proved difficult but rewarding.
Presently, I am employed as a language and culture assistant in Madrid, Spain I assist classes where English is the medium of instruction. I particularly prepare students for their KET, PET, and FCE. I designed appropriate classroom management, lesson plans, instruction delivery and evaluation. The experiences I gained challenged me to be more flexible and taught me to embrace difficulties in the profession. This is the reason why, with much enthusiasm, I am doing online English classes. I would like to test my skills further by sharing them to students who aspire to be communicatively competent in English alongside with learning from them and from the other professionals.
