My approach to teaching Spanish is based on real communication and practical use of the language. I am a native Spanish speaker and have lived and worked in the UK for over 13 years, using both Spanish and English daily in professional, academic, and everyday environments. This allows me to teach Spanish as it is actually spoken, not just as it appears in textbooks.

My lessons are aimed at students who already have some basic knowledge of Spanish and want to move beyond the fundamentals. I focus on helping learners improve their conversational skills, expand practical vocabulary, understand natural expressions, and gain confidence when speaking in real-life situations.

Having learned English as a second language myself, I understand the challenges English speakers face when using another language. I explain grammar in a clear and practical way, always linking it to real examples, common mistakes, and everyday usage, rather than memorisation or overly academic rules.

Although I do not come from a traditional teaching background, I have extensive experience training and coaching people. I have worked as a basketball coach for several years and have also trained many colleagues in professional kitchen environments. These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy, and the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.

I am a friendly, approachable person and believe that a relaxed and supportive environment is essential for learning. My lessons are dynamic, interactive, and fully tailored to each student’s goals, whether for travel, work, or personal interest. All lessons are online and designed to help students make real, noticeable progress while enjoying the learning process.
