Hi Laura, music can be as advanced or simple as you would like to make it.. For an advanced student I would recommend taking a song like Bob Dylans "Don't Think Twice" and breaking it down to understand why it works. This song is a great training tool, and a fine example of secondary dominants. Just remember to have fun.

Hi Sandra! I would recommend starting with some nice simple songs with 2 or 3 chords, like "What's Going On" by The 4 Non-Blondes, or "Creep" by Radiohead. And if you find these songs easy, I would then move on to learning some major and minor triads. Youtube is a great resource. Don't forget, playing with your friends is a great way to improve and have fun at the same time.. Regards
