I hold a degree in Spanish Language and Literature from UNED (National University of Distance Education, Spain). I have a solid academic background in Spanish grammar (phonetics and phonology, semantics, syntax, morphology, and pragmatics and intercultural communication). I base my teaching on the most recent publications of the RAE–ASALE, such as the Nueva gramática de la lengua española and the Diccionario panhispánico de dudas, as well as on the latest materials for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. New technologies are an important part of the learning process, and using them properly is a fundamental support for our classes.

The Spanish language is a treasure, and its variety is a key part of its richness. I will teach you the standard norm of Peninsular Spanish, which will allow you to communicate throughout the Spanish-speaking world. If you wish, however, we can also work with other varieties, from southern Spanish to the particular features of Argentine Spanish.

I lived in Sweden for several years, which is why I have focused my teaching on Swedish students. However, I have also taught students from the United States, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Taiwan, and many other countries. The Spanish language is of interest all over the world and serves as a gateway to a vast and diverse cultural, economic, and leisure landscape.

In my youth, I studied Drama and worked for many years as an actor and drama teacher. That experience has been extremely valuable in my work as a Spanish teacher, helping me to develop listening skills, concentration, and empathy, as well as to create dynamic and enjoyable classroom activities.

Art, cinema, music, literature, gastronomy—culture in all its forms—is one of my main interests, and something without which I cannot understand life, and therefore my teaching.
