I have over 5 years experience teaching as a foreign language.
I can help prepare you for Cambridge a1-c2 or simply to help you with you conversation skills.
I have an array of resources and am willing to adapt to your needs and learning methods whilst all the while making English as fun and accessible as possible.
I have an honours degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Warwick and am completely computer literate. I have thorough, extensive experience of teaching English and Drama to young people across all age ranges at schools across the United Kingdom and even South East Asia, as my attached resume details.
Most importantly though, I am extremely passionate about teaching and I know that I
have the necessary skill-set, knowledge and relevant experience to invigorate students
to achieve their goals and ambitions because inspiring young people to speak and be
heard is my life-long passion.
I hope to demonstrate this in my attached CV as well as in this brief cover letter
message:
I have spent years teaching presentation skills and vocational techniques to students in
schools across the world, specialising in many of the key curriculum areas covered in
the various TEFL books.
I am now expertly trained in the development of students':
- self-confidence
- communication skills
- clear speaking voice
- positive body language
- ability to portray a range of different personalities and emotions.

I have always been very skilled at communicating directly, effectively and on
a one-on-level with children and this is one of the reasons that I have involved

However, through this ability to communicate with the students and using my
own innovative and unique method of audio-visual, action-based teaching, I

I am an individual, who enjoys listening to others and empathising with the
perspective of other people. I have found this to be an incredibly useful tool in
understanding the issues of students in both a social and working environment.
It has certainly helped me to unlock ways in which to get through certain
struggling students, who lack confidence. With regards to unruly behaviour
from pupils, I have often found that their acting out tends to commonly be a
disguised cry for help and attention. This has helped me to find ways to deal
with and deter their unruly behaviour whilst still maintaining their mutual
respect and trust. Having the tact and understanding to talk to the children, on
a level, without being condescending or patronising, has helped me to
maintain the respect of the students I work with and helped me to be seen as
an equal and a friend rather than just another "adult" or authority figure.

I look forward to hearing from you!
