Hi, I’m Freddi, your new Bass teacher! I like to say I help people discover the magic of the bass guitar—one groove at a time.

From the first time I picked up a bass, I was hooked. There’s something powerful and primal about laying down the foundation of the music, locking in with the rhythm, and feeling the pulse run through a room. Over the years, I’ve played in bands, recorded, gigged, and studied different styles—from funk and rock to jazz, soul, and everything in between. But one of the most rewarding parts of my musical journey has been sharing what I’ve learned with others.

My teaching style is all about connection—between teacher and student, between mind and instrument, and most importantly, between you and your music. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, interests, and pace. Whether you’re picking up the bass for the first time or refining your chops, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.

In our lessons, we’ll groove, improvise, explore theory in a fun and practical way, and build strong technique. I emphasize playing with feel and intention, because bass isn’t just about hitting the right notes—it’s about making people move.

I also believe learning should be fun. Expect a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where you can be yourself and grow as a musician.
