Clases de español - Spanish lessons

Are you an international student or foreign worker in the need of Spanish lessons? I am a native Spanish speaker from Madrid who has taught Spanish at at CU Boulder over five semesters. I have taught multiple 5-credit hour courses to an average of 18 students per classroom, including two courses of SPAN 1010 (Novice-Mid level) and three courses of SPAN 1020 (Low-Intermediate level). Additionally, I am trained in Language Pedagogies and Applied Linguistics, which provide me with relevant tools and frameworks to effectively teach Spanish through an international lens. Consequently, I integrate factors such as historical and cultural contextualization, authentic materials, artistic skills, the needs of Heritage Speakers, and other pertinent pedagogical goals into my classes.

Through several teaching and learning experiences, I have honed my teaching abilities and solidified my belief in what constitutes my preferred teaching approach: inspiring students and helping them achieve their goals while becoming autonomous learners. Moreover, being born and raised in Madrid and possessing expertise in Spanish, Latin-American and Lusophone media, literature, and cinema, I will provide valuable insights to deliver the best Spanish education.
