¡Hola!
I am a Spanish teacher born in Valladolid, Spain. I have an extensive experience as a Spanish teacher in Spain with collaborations in the Cervantes Institute of Rio de Janeiro, Kasiga International School (India) and JESIE in China.
I am certified by the Cervantes Institute and currently studying at the University Antonio Nebrija in Madrid for a Masters in Linguistics applied to teach Spanish. Currently I am teacher in the Center of Hispanic Studies at the same University.
I have an extensive experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners (Erasmus, private individuals and immigrants), especially Chinese and Korean students. I always work with a communicative approach and tasks.

My teaching methods are both effective and entertaining. Along with more traditional techniques, I use games, videos, and audios. I focus on the language students will need in real-life situations, from buying apples in a store to recharging their mobile phone, so that each class makes the student better equipped for life in a Spanish-speaking country. The student is involved in deciding what he wants and needs to learn, actively participating in the learning process. This also means that each session is unique and specifically tailored to the requirements of the individual student. Boredom is not allowed!

Soy Guillermo, profesor de español titulado por el Instituto Cervantes y, en la actualidad, estudiante del máster de Lingüística aplicada a la enseñanza de español, en la Universidad Antonio Nebrija, Madrid.
Llevo varios años enseñando a extranjeros (erasmus, partIculares e inmigrantes) mi lengua materna, el castellano.
Mi manera de dar las clases es muy práctica y entretenida, procuro trabajar con el enfoque comunicativo, por lo que lo más importante en las sesiones es aprender y mejorar el nivel de castellano a través de situaciones reales y prácticas, para que cada día el alumno salga de las clases con nuevos conocimientos listos para ser usados. El estudiante es quien, junto con mi ayuda, decide qué quiere y necesita aprender, por lo que se implica activamente en el aprendizaje. ¡El aburrimiento no está permitido!

Adapto mis clases y los materiales a los intereses y necesidades de los alumnos, por lo que cada sesión es única y personalizada. Además, procuro potenciar los tipos de aprendizaje del alumno y enfocar las clases a su manera de aprender.
