I have extensive experience in teaching and private tutoring in physics and mathematics. I have helped students 5 to 18 years old.

I have taught maths and physics for many years. I have a very high level of education, but have also taught students as young as 3 yr.old, so I know how pupils can find it difficult. I have noticed that some students do well at first, but then get stuck on on particular topic. Because maths and physics iare subjects that build on previous work, this means that they loose confidence and do not make further progress. I have helped many students to regain their confidence by isolating their problem. My lessons concentrate on the individual, what it is they do not understand and how to overcome the problem. I use whiteboard or powerpoint presentations and dialogue.
