Helena Prats

Welcome!

I am Helena, an educator, researcher, and language teacher with over 20 years of international experience. I am a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan and have been living and teaching in the United States for over six years.

Throughout my career, I have taught in higher education institutions and schools in Ireland, Spain, Japan, China and the United States. I hold a PhD in Sociolinguistics from the National University of Ireland and a Master’s degree in International Education Policy from Columbia University (New York). I also have extensive training and professional experience in foreign language teaching.

I hold a C2 level certification in English (Cambridge Proficiency) and the TOEFL iBT, which enables me to teach English with confidence and precision.
