I am a fun-loving American girl with 4 years of experience teaching English. I am looking for students in Donostia who are interested in private lessons beginning September.

I am originally from a small coastal town in Oregon and have been living in Japan the last 4 years and will be coming to Donostia to for a Master's in International Business at Deusto University this September.

I have a lot of experience teaching English to a variety of different ages and levels as well as group lessons at large corporations. I work with my students to customize lessons for them so that they can learn quickly and effectively while also having fun. I love learning new languages myself and so I try to inspire my students to find love for learning English. My students tell me they really enjoy my lessons because I am always cheerful and can explain things clearly and that my English is easy to understand. I can also speak conversational Spanish which can be useful for beginners if they have difficulty understanding something.

My Education and recent work history:

I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law. After graduation I moved to Japan where I studied Japanese and worked as a business English teacher at large corporations in Japan, teaching both group and private lessons to mid-level and senior-level managers for a year and a half.

I later took a position as an International Legal Assistant at a prestigious law firm where I did translations, wrote contracts and was responsible for communicating with all international clients. I also assisted the Japanese lawyers with improving their English writing and speaking abilities.

During the 4 years I have lived in Japan, I have taught private English lessons to a variety of individuals, including doctors, lawyers, CEOs, university students, fitness instructors and children. I am able to customize lessons for the needs of each student. I also can provide translation and English correction services on virtually any subject matter.
