Josep Sort Jané

Good to address some words about my expertise as a professor in Social Sciences. First, my name is Josep Sort, and I'm 59 years old. More than 25 years teaching social sciences in the following universities: Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Universidad Internacional de la Rioja, Eserp Business School. Also I have conducted research in European research groups with stakeholders from Austria, Wales, Ireland, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Finland. I collaborated with one of the Catalonia top research institutes: IN2.
I'm PhD in Political Science at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, on of the top universities. Also I am graduate in Political Science and Sociology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and also graduate in History and Geography (Contemporary History) at Universitat de Barcelona. Finally, I also have a Master in Political Analysis at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
I complete my PhD degree at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and have also developed research stages in London and Toronto (York University).
The research areas of my interest are: federalism and intergovernmental relations, Cold War history, Current Political Systems, National Security, Intelligence studies, European History.
I have published or co-published five books, one of those is translated in another language. Also I'm author of different academic articles.
I speak the following languages: Catalan, English, French and Spanish. I can also read texts in Italian and Portuguese.
I'm married (but separate) and we have a 29 years old son.
