My name is Juan Ellins, a seasoned and skilled English Language Teacher in Madrid.

I am a British citizen legally established in the city and more than 8 years of experience in the field can vouch for my record in successfully helping students and professionals learn and improve their English through different methods, all mainly revolving around a conversational approach in order to eliminate that "fear of speaking" that most people embrace when learning a foreign language. Added to this is my experience as an Academic Coordinator for a renowned language school in Latin America where I was chosen for the task of managing and leading the teaching staff, carry out administrative duties on a daily basis, screen candidates applying for a job in both schools and conducting the mandatory interviews with those who were shortlisted. These tasks were later carried out for an Online English Academy based in Murcia, Spain, where I was chosen for such shortly after being taken in as an English Teacher.

Apart from being a native English speaker, I have learnt many things that make me a fit candidate for teaching aspects of the language such as Phonetics and Phonemes, Intonation, Writing; in addition to the aforementioned, I also possess knowledge of Cambridge KET, PET, FCE and CAE exams, having trained students for such official examinations in the past. I have also been certified by Platinum Examination Centre Exams Catalunya as an Official Cambridge Invigilator for their exam sessions.
