¿Qué diferencia hay entre may, might y could?
Isaac | Clases de Inglés
Hi Isaac - sorry but I have to answer this in English! May, might and could are all ways of saying that something is possible but you don't know for sure. This is the order I would place them in, talking about why your friend has not arrived: COULD = least sure: He could be asleep = it's just a guess, you don't know him well enough, he could equally be playing football or visiting his mother MAY = a bit more sure: He may be asleep = you know a bit about his habits, it's quite possible MIGHT = more sure: He might be asleep = you know he sleeps at this time, it's likely. I hope this makes sense and helps you! Kind regards, Julia.
