Kathryn Ann Webster

Hello! Hola!

My name is Kathryn Ann Webster. I am a native British English teacher with a degree in English. I am passionate about preparing students for exams through grammar, writing and communication.

I was born in the north of England, where I studied English at Leeds University. After gaining my degree I relocated to London to work in the publishing industry at magazines such as ELLE and InStyle for over a decade. Finally, I moved to Getxo in 2012 to start a family and teach English. Here you can see my vast experience, which spans over 13 years.

Spain (2012-Present) I am a highly experienced teacher working with an array of students, from primary children to intermediate and high levels, helping prepare students for their Cambridge exams. I am extremely present for all my students, making initial and ongoing assessments and adapting all lessons to suit their unique and individual needs. I like to mix various teaching methods, from conversational English to storytelling, essay writing, grammar workshops, English history and cultural lessons, creative writing and role play. I believe learning is most effective when it is infused with emotion and joy and when you can inspire. I insist on leaving all my students with a feeling of inner confidence, positivity and eagerness to speak English!

My lessons are €25 per hour for one child, for each extra child that wishes to attend the class there is an extra charge of €5 per child. I am available during the days, evenings and weekends.
