Hello, my name is Olga Redrado and I am a dual citizen of Spain and the USA.
I first traveled to the UK in 1992 at the age of seventeen. Since then, I've always felt a deep connection with the country and still keep in touch with my English family in Hereford. I enjoy communicating and interacting with students to share my enthusiasm for education and the sciences while providing engaging sessions and meaningful academic support opportunities.
My eighteen years in education allow me to feel very comfortable teaching students of different backgrounds. I am literate in English, Spanish (mother tongue) French and Catalan. Thus I have a lot of insight into the difficulties that language learners and their families face, how to notice and solve them promptly.
I hold a valid Spanish teaching credential from Spain and the USA (California and Colorado)
Students learn in different ways, so lessons will contain hands-on, visual, auditory and daily life connections accordingly to ensure engagement with content during the lesson.
I tend to split the session in twenty minute blocks switching format as needed to keep students within their attention span to continuously spark their interest in the material.
